New York City has one of the most robust human rights laws in the United States. The NYC Human Rights Law prohibits discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations based on race, color, religion/creed, age, national origin, immigration or citizenship status, gender (including sexual harassment), gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, marital status, and other protected categories.
This information session will explain your anti-discrimination protections in New York City and who to contact if you face discrimination in New York City.

Jay Brodska (he/him) is a transgender man, born in Ukraine and raised in New York. As a first-generation immigrant, he has spent the majority of his life navigating conservative family and cultural views regarding his identity and the LGBTQI+ community.
