The 7th Annual World Refugee Day Community Arts Festival took place on June 18th in Brooklyn.The festival, co-hosted with the Brooklyn Conservatory and various NYC community organizations, provided a stage for talented artists from the RUSA LGBTQ+ community. The day was filled with moments recognizing their artistic talents and sharing their experiences.

The festival was more than just a free community celebration. It served as a platform to raise the voices and stories of refugees, immigrants, displaced persons, and asylum seekers through music, dance, theater, and more. Representatives from organizations supporting refugees attended, offering attendees a chance to learn more about their work and how to support them. The event also featured a garden and international vendors selling beautiful arts and crafts.
