Successful Winter Clothing Drive

Essential winter clothing was provided to asylum seekers primarily living in NYC shelters.

Over the course of the event, we distributed 122 coats directly to those in need. To ensure a broader reach, each family was eligible to receive up to 3 coats.

In addition to distributing tangible items, we also provided assistance by giving $1000 worth of gift cards to individuals who did not receive a coat. This ensured that everyone received some form of support.

With over 120 participants, this event demonstrated the strength of our community and the importance of such events.

We extend heartfelt thanks to our partners RIF Asylum Support and First Presbyterian Church. Special recognition goes to Irina Knyazeva and Max Gavriluk for their tireless efforts in organizing this event. Their hard work was the foundation of our success.
