Ekaterina coordinates Rainbow Connections, Qaravan’s mentorship program that pairs LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers and immigrants with local volunteers for one-on-one English conversation, city orientation, and emotional support. She organizes gatherings, facilitates matches, and provides hands-on guidance to help these relationships grow into lasting sources of mutual care and solidarity.

Rooted in her own lived experience, Ekaterina brings a deep understanding of the challenges and isolation newcomers can face.
