Russian-speaking therapists: our members' experience

Psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists who speak Russian and with whom people from our chats had a good experience. QARAVAN has not checked licenses or the accuracy of these reviews.

Based on the experience of people in our chats, 2023–2026.

A psychiatrist is a doctor who diagnoses and prescribes medication. A psychologist or therapist helps through talking and does not prescribe.

Everyone here charges a fee or takes insurance. Free and low-cost options are on the page "Therapy without insurance or at an affordable price".

Start here

  • If you feel very bad right now, don't wait for an appointment: call 988 and say "Russian", or 911 if you are in immediate danger. More on the page "Help right now".
  • Decide whom you need: a psychiatrist for medication, a psychologist or therapist for talk therapy.
  • When you book, ask right away whether they take your insurance, what a session costs without it, and whether there is a sliding scale.
